The Countdown Continues
Running shoes $78 dollars; gym fees $120 dollars; 110th Boston Marathon Registration $95 dollars; running the Boston Marathon to find a cure for cancer…..priceless!!
147 days of training completed “let the games begin”. This week I’m working on getting my mind ready mentally (As the great Yogi Berra said, "90% of the game is half mental"). The weather looks like it may cooperate, making it a great day for a run.
Once again I would like to personally express how grateful I am for your support of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team and myself in the 2006 Boston Marathon. Thank you for all your generous contributions, I am very close to reaching my fundraising goal of $5,000!
Just a reminder you can track my progress on race day by going to www.bostonmarathon.org and entering my name or bib number (18864).
I hope to see you all out there. If you plan on being in the crowds on Monday please let me know your approximate location so I can be looking forward to seeing you!
I run for hope,
Ryan
